I also use a belly band when I go walking. I love it. I do intervals(Jog 30--45 seconds, walk 60-75 seconds) and with my Glcok 27, Ruger SR40C or Kahr PM40 the belly band is a good snug hold and fit. Mine has a small pouch in front for keys and weapons permit and it only cost about $18...
Got this SWEET 1911 Ultra Compact this week and just got to shoot it today.
First glance: Beautiful. All details polished and perfect. Rich dark nitron finish accented with stainless steel trigger and hammer. Came with "Blackwood" grips, which look great but provide no contrast so I put a set...
Welcome. And yes, getting the sheaths is a pain. Cold Steel ended up cancelling my sheaths and sending mine with free shipping to apologize. They said they aren't expecting any more sheaths in. But the Machete's rock.
Update on price of the Katana Machete. Cold Steel has them clearanced on thier Special Projects site for $19.95 and $2 for the sheaths. Bad part is $10 shipping. I just ordered 2 of each so the shipping averages out to $5 per set. $27 for the machete and sheath is a great deal...
LOL!
It's a bear alright. I really LOVE the video starting around 1 minute in. The pig cuts are sweet. Notice the complete decapitation at 1:26? Gotta love it.
Cold Steel ROCKS!
That looks like a monster of a tool. And while it is obviously versatile, I guess I like more blade to handle than that. For my BoBs I originally thought o get a hatchet and entrenching tool. But after getting a sweet Eastwing hatchet(all metal for durability) I realized just...
Interesting. I've never had a problem with a Cold Steel knife yet. I love my Kukri and Magnum Kukri machetes too. Been using them for over a year whenever I need to clear brush and small branches and no problems. Thrown the GI Tanto and split some wood with it. Used my Rifleman tomahawk for...
Monster! Awesome!
Bought one of these to try it out for my BoB and ended up with 4 of them. I watched the video I attached and had to try one out. Now I don't do anything near what this guy does but I have chopped some wood and done some throwing with mine and it has not disappointed. For a...
To daily carry? Very well. LOL! Have I used it to split firewood yet? Umm. No.
Sorry. I got this knife for cutting meat and, fortunately, haven't had to use it for that yet.
Now my G.I. Tantos...
Very nice budget knife.
A few bucks cheaper than the Kobun, a little heavier and longer. Not much difference but not as versatile to me.
The blade is slightly thicker but the hilt is MUCH thicker. It provides a better grip but kills concealability. The sheath sits high up on the hilt and is...
Fantastic knife!
Bought one and had to buy another. Slim, light weight, strong and sharp. The hilt feels natural(if a bit thin in my fat hands) and comfortable. The blade comes with a sweet, sharp edge and feels both strong and light. The case has eyelets for lashing to the straps of your...
Junk. Bought 3 for $10-15 package to try them out and what a surprise! They suck. LOL!
The plastic on the skeletonized hilt actually doesn't feel too bad once you grind off the points and corners a bit. Size isn't bad but the steel is hard to sharpen...no WON'T sharpen. Still they are worth...
Joke!
Bought one to try as a neck carry option. It's tiny, uncomfortable..no PAINFUL to hold...useless. For it to be of any use at all as tiny as it is it would have to be light saber sharp...and it's not out of the box.
Save your money...
Personally I prefer to carry my G27 with a G23 magazine and a mag adaptor. the adaptors have a dramatic curve that really fits the heel of the hand and makes the grip on the gun much better. It does add about 3/4 inch of length to the grip but it also adds 2 rounds(in 40S&W) to the capacity...
I bought a Kahr PM40 that had them on when it arrived. Took me about 5 minutes before I had them peeled off and stuck inside the box. My PM45 has a hogue wraparound and I love THAT.
Tell ya what. If you really want traction, go to WalMart and get some purty pink flowerdy shower no-slippy...
About 5 years ago, maybe more, I bought a used Citizen Eco drive watch off of ebay. When it arrived it was just a link or two too small for comfort. I called Citizen to see if I could buy a link or two and they happily sent me 3 for free. That watch has worked perfectly and looked great for all...
