    Generally speaking stands will be made from 6061 (more rigid) 6063 (less rigid). Both of these alloys can be welded with 4043 for maximum as welded strength. These are standard readily available structural aluminum alloys.

    It can be repaired easily. Aluminum fatigues over time. Gouge and weld crack, reinforce with plate. Easy peasy lemon squeezy.
