  1. Advice on Beaver problem.

That is kind of my thought. If I can go hard now to get rid of them then I can maintain it better in the future as they show back up.
  2. Advice on Beaver problem.

I had a feeling when I posted it that it would go south quick. Surprisingly it stayed on topic. Now it can sprawl in whatever direction it wants to go. 😂 I will send some beaver pics soon! 🦫 😂
  3. Advice on Beaver problem.

All it took was showing some information on how much it would cost to fix the problems they cause.
  4. Advice on Beaver problem.

It is amazing how much damage they can do in a short period of time. It is going to take me a while I am sure to get rid of them completely.
  5. Advice on Beaver problem.

The neighbors have agreed to allow 2 of us to shoot the beavers then blow up the dam. Victory! 🦫💀⏱️
  6. Advice on Beaver problem.

Thanks guys for the good info and a few good laughs. Most of the people are actually good small town people. Just a few of the ladies like the cute beavers and can’t see past that part of of it to see the problems they are causing. Maybe if the husbands were taking care of the beavers right they...
  7. Advice on Beaver problem.

That’s kind of what I am putting together. Seeing that it can cost between 20,000 and 70,000 per acre to dredge the lake that is 30 acres should do the trick.
  8. Advice on Beaver problem.

I really legit was hoping someone might help with some info I could take to our yearly meeting. I am trying to do this the right way if possible. I have been searching the web for some info that explains how slowing the water flow at the entrance of the lake is causing stagnation. Everything I...
  9. Advice on Beaver problem.

I know that they will just keep coming back. The hope is that if I could get the community on board. I kill as many as I can, destroy the dam, and now that I live here permanently I can kill them as they come back.
  10. Advice on Beaver problem.

I can definitely get rid of them (with my Savage FV-SR) and the three S method. There is no hiding how I get rid of the Dam though. I printed out some quotes for dredging and some info on lake stagnation, algae blooms, bacteria, and all the other problems they cause. Hopefully they will agree...
  11. Advice on Beaver problem.

That is a great idea. Thank you.
  12. Advice on Beaver problem.

It is so flooded on the other side from the lake I don't think I can get any heavy equipment in. I am thinking I might get a couple of cables through the dam, hook them to a tire and winch them through to break it up. Or if they will agree I will just blow it up.
  13. Advice on Beaver problem.

I will go out a limb and say probably so. I have a silent and thermal solution for getting rid of them but it would be alot easier if I can convince them to get on board. As far as the dam removal this thing is huge and it is going to take alot to get rid of it and I haven't figured out how to...
  14. Advice on Beaver problem.

Ok here is the backstory. I live on an incorporated lake. So everyone has a say so on what goes on at the lake. We have a huge beaver dam full of beavers and a few of the homeowners think they are wonderful and want to keep them. However they are causing the flow of water to be slowed down...
  15. 50 coyotes

I spoke with the sheriff's dept. and the Game warden last year. According to them you can shoot a gun as long as you are in the county (not the city limits). The law according to them is that you just cannot hunt deer with a firearm. You do have to be the proper distance away from other...
