TC Hawken in 50 cal.. put it together years ago when they sold Kit rifles...

think if you look through both at day end you'll choose the Meopta... they made the older Zeiss conquest scopes for Zeiss.. really good glass.
a larger 50 mil objective means little to light gathering verses the 44. It's all about the glass and coatings.
look through both in various light...
experience with your rifle( shoot a lot) helps quite a bit with buck fever...
as for finding your deer.. two things... go back to where you last found the blood and start looking in a expanding circle pattern using the spot of blood as your center... you can also do this where the deer...

not hunting in the real sense at all. Exactly what defense do those animals have..
hearing , sight, smell...nope not at those ranges...
not hunting in my mind.
Shoot paper at 1000 yards if you want to show that skill and complete against other humans.
