    My 4 granddaughters have killed 9 deer with a youth model 243. Average shot distance about 90 yards. none of the deer killed ran over 20 yards. Rounds used are 90 grain Winchester.

    I’ve seen a couple in the Silver Lake area near lake Seminole. Mostly see the silver ones. The black really stands out.

    A chain link fence. Doe was running from dogs, ducked under a low hanging limb and dead centered a fence post. Broke the fence post and her neck.

    I like it if not too cold or raining too hard. It's quiet and scent doesn't carry as bad. Can see a lot of neat things animals do in bad weather. Animals don't seem to care much as they got to eat anyway.

    No experience out of state. 60’s and 70’s were scarce in SW GA. Now it’s pretty good. My son fills a freezer every season.
