I’ve been to that gas station several times while visiting some commercial properties.
All I can say is their are some really nice hunting tracts near by… REALLY nice ones
Good looking trophy!
What are they doing? I have them around my property and they used to dig up my grass but I’ve put out the pest granules to keep the grubs out.. they root up around the pines and bushy areas now.
They eat their weight in pests too… ticks, spiders, grubs, termites, ect… no mice feed which in turn...
Second time this happened… I’d put the bow down and use a rifle moving forward.
I don’t bow hunt but I do know you’ve got to wait a good long time to move after sticking one. To me it seemed a little less humane way to harvest thus why I use a rifle.
Never lost one yet personally
I’ve got a few really young ones wandering around my place. I don’t think they have spots now though and mommas haven’t been seen since beginning of bow season.
That’s something I won’t do, I won’t take a doe when I see babes in the area. That’s a hard gut/walk when you’ve got the fawns...
Last Saturday I was visiting a friend on a farm and we heard a group calling in the distance.
My buddy ran inside and seconds later he came outside with weapons, thermal, a go bag with small supplies, and said everyone grab a 4 wheeler, it’s go time…
I’m the back of the pack with the Benelli...
Wow that’s awesome!
I have been a few times but never had success. I’ve taken hogs, deer, dove, yotes, coons, and fox… and then when it’s out of season, I have 40 hens in my back yard!
