I have RCBS Uniflow. I think it is great. The big thing with mechanicals is type of powder, i.e. ball, flake, spherical etc., and your consistent movement when operating the measure.
It is not difficult to have very good repeatability and adjustment to dial it in.
I have loaded thousands of...
I have used a few. I have loaded many .357 and 38 spl. with these. It may not be fast but it does load excellent rounds cheaply.
I have loaded many 410 shells for squirrel and rabbit too.
I have several for different calibers.
If I want faster I go to the Rock Chucker. If I want faster, big...
I am not familiar with the Dillon swager. But I would just try to set it with a case the way it is meant to be and try part of the 300 again. I cannot see how you could have ruined the cases with the swager.
The RC can easily handle those and produce great accuracy. I have loaded thousands of rounds on mine and still get great concentricity results. I have used many of the different brands but the bulk of my reloading tools are RCBS. They are long lasting and the company stood behind their product...
You are on the right track already by saying manuals. One will not tell you everything.
I have a Dillon. I would not start there by no means. Great equipment but not a starter.
I started with a Rock Chucker(after years of Lee handloader). I have never been disappointed with the RC. What do you...
I sure hope you are wrong.
No offense , just damn cause I remember the other ones.
I bought some for that too! They were old stock but made good plinkers.
I still have some but the failure rate now is higher.
I found a powder bottle that still had like 15.95 for a pound. I should have bought more.
I like your thinking. I don't know much at all about 3d printing. I really enjoy reloading and have tried a few things. I'll be watching for your results.
Hodgdon reloading center for load data.
Personally 50 gr. is the lightest worthwhile and up to 70 gr. I have only 1 rifle in this but it has been
great. H380 is a very good choice in my opinion. But from my experience you start at the low end of the recommended charge and then do extensive load...
slide that ratchet up and off, then slide the orange cap up.Should be the grease/lube reservoir.
The sizer dies go on the other side.when you operate the handle a ram forces a cast bullet thru the sizer die, crank ratchet, lubes bullet.lower handle remove.
That's a very good list! I can come close and do a couple not on your list but not all the ones you do.
I have been at it for a while and I surely do like it. I like it for many different reasons especially for all the great game I have taken over the years. I am also thankful for the enjoyment...
