This is what I've used for years and am incredibly happy with it after upgrading from a Lee
My 55 came in Saturday. Got it out today and got it mounted. Man this thing is SOLID. All cast and has to weigh 10 pounds with the stand. I started cleaning it up and breaking it in. Havnt checked for accuracy and repeatability yet but it sure feels good, though it has a very long stroke. Most...
Well... I went in a different direction. I just ordered a Lyman 55 from Brownells. $78, free shipping and $25 off my total order. Picked up some 10 round 1911 mags I been needing to...

So I think I'm going to take advantage of some Black Friday deals and finally upgrade my powder drop. My Lee "Perfect" PD is far from it.
Heres what I'm hoping to find in a single unit...
Bench mounted
Useable with fine powders and stick
Adjustable from 3 to 60+ gr

Yes .311 is correct and are more accurate but I have seen .308s... One of my friends has come up with a Nosler ballistic tip 308 that he deer hunts with and it will actually shoot under 4" out of his SKS

I use Winchester WLR for about everything. Like others have said unless your benchrest shooting just find an affordable/ available option and start there. Its what I did with the Winchester and use there primers for about everything now. Rifle and pistol.
