  1. What is everyone using on crimped primers pockets???

I don’t disagree with this. I used only a chamfer for a long time but my fingers didn’t appreciate it. Drill is key!
  2. What is everyone using on crimped primers pockets???

hand swagers work but from my experiences they need to be followed up with a chamfer tool to better "funnel" the primer into place. These will kill your fingers too... im really looking into getting a case prep station that will allow me to do both quickly.

Read the latest Hornady reloading manual
  4. Help Please

I would say the Hornady reloading manual is one of the best to read to fully understand internal ballistic and reloading.
  5. Case Prep Centers

That’s one of the main concerns I have with the FA. I plan on trimming a lot of 300 blk. I wonder how trimming 300 blk is on the Lyman trim mate express. I’m currently using the Lyman Ezee trim set with a drill and I like it pretty good I just wish I could find the 8/32 adapter for it to run it...
  6. Case Prep Centers

Awesome! Thanks! I do wish the frankford unit had more drives like the lyman. I guess it depends on if I were swaging crimps or not that day.
  7. Case Prep Centers

I'm planning on purchasing a case prep center soon and I'm trying to figure out the best path forward with respect to prepping AND trimming. My first thought was to get the Lyman case prep xpress for about $130 on Amazon and then find or mill one of those adapters that allow you to mount the...
  8. Loading some rounds while staying home

I just started reloading 300 blk subsonic loads this past week. Luckily i had some 300 blk range pickup brass. I also have 2000 rounds of 5.56 blank brass that i will be converting. I made an annealer and got the harbor freight saw and a jig off ebay… Dang this is a time consuming caliber...

  18. Got lead?

Hahahaha. I wish we would have built a little bigger. That was 110 pound hog. More like 90 pounds once we had to cut the head off. He had almost $400 into that one. But you could set the pit temp on your phone and it would maintain it within five or 10°
  19. Got lead?

Thanks for posting. I didn't realize these controllers had gotten so cheap. There's a few things id like to use these on.
  20. Got lead?

Nice! I’ll give it a whirl! I’d like to build something that controls a damper and fan to control my grill temp. Here’s the pig pit me and my buddy made... complete with controller and mobile interface.
