What kind of scale are you using? Is it maybe a scale issue? And how full is the case? Maybe inconsisten primers? And are the case small primer or large? Lapua did small primer in 6.5 creed cases and it was something to do with the flash from large primers.
Bullet weight very consistent? Cases...
I have used hornady dies for some time. I like the bullet guide thingy. I had the only stuck cases with ribs dies, but use an ribs press.
Also hornady one shot or Dillon spray lube, or make your own with isopropyl and lanolin.
I have used standard full length dies for years. No need for small.base in Saami chamber.
I use a Lee factory crimp die as a separate action. I don't like seating and crimping in the same stroke.
Also, I shot semi.a loooong time without crimping. If your dies resize the neck right you should...
Id only shoot it in a barrel I could afford to sacrifice. The powder charge is in the range of a 77 grain load, so I'd at least compare burn rate to something known first. I'd film it with a camera in slow motion so you can quantify how it compares. Unless it's something real slow, like Hodgden...
Yeah, you should be good to reseat those pulled bullets. no real risk or reusing the bullets as long as there aren't raised surfaces. Plenty of cheap bullets for sale are pulled bullets.
I said a prayer before my first round.
Congrats and welcome to the world of pretending that you'll save money shooting reloads. You'll only shoot more for the same amount of money!
With calipers or a micrometer at the widest diameter. You could get close with a ruler in hundredths or even 64ths.
Harbor freight sells a decent micrometer for cheap
RMR bullets for plated
powder valley for bullets and powder
Graf's for bullets
Midsouth shooting supply too.
I shop all of them for best price and/or availability.
Wieners if they're still around, but I think they may have close a couple years back.
American reloading for some deals
Oops, I was reading late and on my phone. I saw One Shot and thought of the One Shot case lube.
For cleaning dies, I've only used some carb or brake cleaner and after wiping it out and giving time to evaporate, hen a shot of spray case lube back in it to get things slippery again, and back to...
FWIW, Dillon spray is better in my opinion. It last a long long time, and is not aerosol, so there's much less waste.
Also, there are online recipes for lanolin and Isopropyl alcohol, which is what Dillon case lube spray is. Much cheaper if you load a lot.
My 77gr SMK load for 5.56 is 24.5, so at the high end of the load range. I worked up the first load in a Noveske barrel many years ago, and tested again in a second Noveske barrel, then in a Ballistic Advantage barrel and it was so consistent that I stopped bothering working up a load and it's...

Page 39 has the 6.5 Grendel load data and all powders that Accurate/Western have data for.
I haven't loaded for it, but can comment on RL15 as I've used it for years. It's not extremely temp sensitive, it yields some of the best velocities and accuracies within it's competitive powders, however it does suffer from stacking when dropping powder since it's long extruded columns over...
be sure on GB to type in 9.3 x 62 as well as 9.3x62 and 9,3x62. The spaces and commas matter. I want another, and keep an eye out for older German Guild mausers and Husqvarnas.
