Lineman, I can speak to this question, however, I can not speak top loading .223 on this press. That being said, here we go.....
I had 2 550's in which we (the wife and I) loaded 9mm for matches. I found that I needed more output so I sold one of the 550;s and purchased a 750. It was extremely...
I saw that last night I think it was. I only need the press. I kinda doubt that he will sell just that right now. However, he is close to me............
Looking for a SS press to do some de-capping and maybe some bullet pulling. Not that I would EVER make a mistake! hahahaha I would also like this press to to do some low volume pistol reloading .38 special and maybe .380. Thanks for your thoughts!
I use a timer on my dehydrator to eliminate "over cooking" and having to return one hour(ish) later to turn it off. I wired it into an extension cord from the wall plug to the timer plug. Got it off ebay.
Nice! Thank you for the info in 124 JHP's. I'm sticking with the 147's I've been loading for Charlston and Mobile. I'm still playing it's the 115 and the 120 PF concept. I'm trying RN at a COL of 1.15 and still getting a flyer in a 5 shot group. Using 4.0 of N-320. May have to come up a bit.
Great post Gloctapus and thank you for sharing the load you use. I too load VV N320 in my 147 plated Xtreme bullets. They work well for me at 3.4g. Loaded some 115's with 4.0g and these give me a 120PF. I do have some 124 FMJ's lying around so maybe I load them with your recipe and see what that...
Thank you for a great response. This is the information that I am looking for. Seeing that I am new to this game it's really nice to have veteran help. Thank you 1006!
Gentlemen, I have been shooting GSSF for about three years. Not very good but I'm getting better . I have been loading for about two years. The load I'm using is a 147g RN (plated) with a power factor of 124. Recently another competitive shooter told me that a 115g with a 120 power factor...
I bought a Magic Chef dehydrator off eBay for $20 bucks, delivered. It's 4 trays can dry all I can get into a Rebel 17 tumbler and will have it dry before the next stuff is clean.
