  1. Anybody use dry additives to their vibratory tumblers' corn cob media?

I put a little squirt of LUCAS Polish in the media and they come out shining...
  2. Starline brass- in stock 32-20, etc.

I signed up for their email notification months ago and received an email today that 32-20 was in stock. Website didn’t work when I tried to order it so I called them and was able to place my order over the phone! I feel lucky I saw the email as soon as it came in - sold out quick!
  3. Lead shot

Outdoor Depot in Gainesville has a lot of shot on display but I didn’t notice price - give them a call
  4. Primers?

It said that this was an Easter sale, so now that Easter is over they apparently put the prices back up to normal.:hand:
  5. Primers?

I received an email yesterday from Target Sports - they had CCI #500 SPP for $399/case plus $30 HazMat and free shipping. They also have LPP, SRP AND LRP in stock. Here is the link https://www.targetsportsusa.com/cci-small-pistol-primers-500-box-of-1000-14-p-111600.aspx
  6. Rare Powder Find Outdoor Depot Gainesville

They are good people over there!
  7. Fantastic bullet puller

    That looks pretty handy!
  8. Dillon 550 Reloading Setup?

This is the way to go if you want to switch calibers.Takes a couple of minutes to swap tool heads and shell plate and you are ready to start loading the other cartridges. Pop for the extra powder measure - you won’t regret it and will save a lot of time recalibrating the same measure if you...
  9. Primers splitting during resize/deprime

Been reloading since 1974 and have never seen this issue. Are these previously reloaded or probably once fired military cases? I wouldn’t spend any time messing with them - if commonly available brass just throw them out. Expensive or hard to find brass I would spend the time to get the old...
  10. Need help - Anyone with a Uniflow Powder Measure

    Those are really cool!
  11. Reloading accident

Never owned one of those hand priming tools that have a primer hopper built in - and now for sure I won’t! I do use an old hand priming tool to occasionally prime 45 ACP with small primer pockets to use when I won’t be picking up my brass at a match. You put a single primer in the tool and...
  12. Reloading accident

Hard to imagine how he could have been hurt that badly from a primer going off. I’ve popped a few primers during reloading and all it did was make a noise and no harm done. Would be good to know what he did - might help another new (or experienced) reloader from making the same mistake. We...
  13. PMC 45 acp primer size

I normally separate my 45 ACP brass and set the SPP brass aside. Once in a while I take a batch and resize, decap, and then prime manually. Then I load them the rest of the way on my Dillon and when I shoot a match I don’t worry about picking up the brass:)
  14. Reloading Questions

Use your barrel as a case gauge - remove the barrel from the slide and rounds should drop in easily
  15. Reloading Questions

    That’s close enough for me!
  16. Best press/ tools for medium amount of shotshells

MEC 600 Jr is best bang for the money. Switching from 2-3/4 to 3" will require adjustments to the press - MEC makes the 600 Slugger specifically for loading slugs. Lots of used MECs for sale.
  17. **It’s Alive!!**Ordered a Dillon RL550C!!!

Any standard dies will work, but the two features of the Dillon dies I like is that you can unclip the internal seating and crimping stems to clean them out and then slide them right back in place, and the sizing dies are beveled at the mouth so the cases never hang up on the edge. Did Dillon...
  18. **It’s Alive!!**Ordered a Dillon RL550C!!!

That was quick - I thought Dillon had a long back order- maybe just for the die sets?
  19. **It’s Alive!!**Ordered a Dillon RL550C!!!

You won’t regret buying a 550C - I have three and only one is mounted on the strong mount. All three work great with or without the strong mount.
  20. Dillon Owners - Do you only use Dillon dies?

Mostly Dillon - I like that their sizing dies are chamfered
