    Thanks for all the input guys. Currently my go to place looks like Talladega. Its about 1.5 hours from me. Sounds like the consensus is the same as where my brain was leaning. There's no linear relationship guaranteed of group size between ranges. I'll just try to weed out blatantly obvious...

    Sure thing. I went with the sporter. Ordered from midway. Used one on my rifle with an instructor back in December and was sold on the simplicity.

    Around 2700 if I recall correctly. I'd have to reference the manual. Got a magnetospeed in the mail the other day. Looking forward to trying it out.

    I've only made up one to try so far, will make a few more before I make a test run. I'd have to check my notes... I think I did 41 grains of H4350 with 140 grain Hornady eld match

    Pretty quick question, apologies if this has been over before.... I know the standard for checking group size is 100 yards. My private range is setup for about 65 yards. In your opinions, how big of a deal is it shooting at 65 yards to get an idea for figuring out ideal loads? I'm hoping...
