It's time to upgrade my rain coat - what are good options? The primary concerns are performance and how well it breathes in warm conditions. I'm ok with a higher price if it gives me a good long-term solution.
I friend of mine is a hard-core motorcycle guy, bought one of them for his wife, and them bought one for himself to that their riding styles would match when they ride together. He likes the storage and sometimes rides it when he's by himself.
He put me on his and we went for a ride. Not...
No, I think it's a single-cylinder that was also used in the NX650. Still not a lot of parts, though...
ETA: Looks like the NX650 was sold in europe through 2003, so perhaps a few more parts.
Any good places to order used parts online? I tried one place, they charged me, but never shipped the part. I've tried calling local parts places but none seem to have what I need. (Fuel rail & injectors for a 1994 F150 5.0)
My biggest problem with GM trucks is their interiors - they’re crude. Mechanically they’re great. I was actually looking at an ‘89 1500 that was in great shape, but had a 4.3. Solid motors, but I’m afraid it would be too gutless.

Extremely? No, but competent. I rebuilt the motor on my samurai, and carburetors on my motorcycles. My biggest challenge is time - I don’t have much to be turning a wrench all the time.

I’m considering buying an older full-sized truck - what are my best options?
I’d like something full-sized so I can take my 2 boys with me places or to drop them off at school, but not the size of a larger cab. A manual transmission because I miss having one. 4wd for a bit of fun or winter...
Do you like the car? If so, repair it. If not, scrap it.
There's no guarantee that the next vehicle you buy for $4k to $6k won't need major repair soon as well. That's why it's only $4k to $6k....
that image was reversed from the actual photo taken, and the 'splash' is light reflection. And the driver of the caddy needs to learn how to stay in their lane.
