I will say the earlier 350s were complete garbage. I had a good friend who was heavily invested in them, they ate head gaskets and starters like candy. -

6.2's were fine If you It took care of them and didn't expect 500 horsepower. Like everything else people run things into the ground and don't maintain them then blame the engine. -

6.2's were not converted gasser's, that's a myth. The earlier 350s were derived from an Olds, shared similarities but still weren't just a conversation. -

Picked up this M1008 up a few weeks back. Pretty solid straight truck overall seems to be have been well maintained but does need a few things. Looking to find someone local who is knowledgeable about these, I'm in the Commerce area. -
