  6. Ford 6.7 diesel

my original post was incorrect. the truck we had in iraq was a 2010. It had the 6.4L turbo lag like a bitch, but boy that was a tough truck. I'd take one any day.
  7. Ford 6.7 diesel

I had a 6.7 in Iraq. It was amazing. The only civilian truck the last an entire tour without major mechanical failure. Even the AC kept working. That was awesome. Dropped it down a 12ft hole accidentally and had to get it pulled out with an MRAP. This thing was towing everyday in sandstorms.

oh yeah, sure. if you lie and tell them that it is biodiesel exclusively it will be fine. but if you dont want to lie or run the risk of the over-zealous cop running your plates while you are at the diesel pump with your alt-fuel license plate... thats a different story.

  18. Rebuilding a 6.2L Diesel

Haha what are you talking about? In the CUCV? The CUCV has a Chevy 6.2l diesel and you can still find them used from DRMO in auctions.
  19. Rebuilding a 6.2L Diesel

Oh and there are turbo kits for the 6.2, but you would be much better off swapping in a 4bt
  20. Rebuilding a 6.2L Diesel

But the 6.5 has that stupid controller that always over heats. I would either recommend a hummer motor for the non smog stuff. They make better horse power and rub better by far. Just look at the intake manifolds and exhaust manifolds and you will see a difference. Really a 4bt or 6bt would be...
