All I know is my budget for a vehicle is $15,000 or less, so that rules out nearly every EV I'd wouldn't be seen dead in.
I'm not convinced they will ever be a sensible option for those working stiffs with families on a tight budget unless battery replacement costs tumble to a similar level as...
Bio diesel, the only sane medium term choice. Technology is well understood, distribution network already in place, emission controls, (stuff DEF), can work, conventional engines that can be made affordable for the average person, no battery to replace in 10 years or less that costs 10 x the...
It's at a Hyundai dealer right now to check in on the warranty aspect, but I think it won't make the failure criteria, which are quite specific. The key factor is which would be a better vehicle, current one, (in pretty good condition), with a 0 miles engine, or another older / higher mileage...

The decision whether to replace the engine's a tough one; cost looks to be very close to the repaired value, (does a new engine in a 100k mile card add much resale value ?).
Does anyone know of a shop in the...
Canada Hyundai 2022 SUV bought
for $58,000, battery damaged when it ran over some debris, battery replacement cost $60,000........ I think that says it all.

Sorry if this is long winded, but I'd appreciate peoples opinion.
Scenario: 2013 Santa Fe, ~ 95k miles. Brakes ok but the pedal slowly sinks under constant pressure, will pump up. Same behavior when engine running or off with brake booster drained.
Checked - fresh fluid, bled brakes, no...
