The car driver was basically committing suicide. I don’t remember why exactly but I think it was terminal illness of some sort. Truck driver had minor injuries and biker have severe injuries and I think was in icu for a while but did live.
imma bet it caused cancer and got banned. All the good stuff does.
I do very vaguely remember seeing commercials for something like that on speed channel back when it was good and had all the car and truck builders on it saturday mornings.
Head gaskets were a problem of days past with the old EJ motors, but it still wasnt that big a problem. My 2008 wrx with an EJ255 had 140k when i sold it and was running 22psi most of its life.
The FA20 motor that is used across the board doesnt suffer the problems of the old EJs.
CVTs are junk...
Have you been in a Kia, Hyundai, Mazda in the last decade?
Theres a reason they are recording record sale numbers year after year.
Mazda is also one of the class leading suvs in reliability and reviews.
Honda and Toyota are both falling in reliability, sales, and reviews.
Kia Sportage...
10 speed is a joint venture between Ford and GM. If you see either of their suv/truck/ some sports cars with a 10 speed they are the same transmission.
This^^ You have to buy the delete kit if you want to remove AFM. Not that big a deal. By the time AFM give you any problems (speaking of majority) it will be time for a light rebuild anyway. Moms 07 tahoe has about 300K on it now and still runs fine. AFM isnt a bad thing and has gotten a bad rep...

Cylinder deactivation has been standard on 1500 models since the 2007 body change.
2014 also had the 6L80 6spd...
Ive had 2 wrxs and a Forester. Ill never own another one. My 2008 was pretty good. My 17wrx ate a rod bearing at 14k, the forester i sold before the CVT could let go (normally around 70k).
Hyundai, Kia, Toyota is about all i would look at thats not a truck.
If you are looking towards an SUV, I would go look at a Telluride or a Palisade. My wife has a 22 Palisade calligraphy and man that thing is the tits. To us it was way more comfortable than the Highlander.
Because your AT4 was optioned that way. AT4s don't come standard with all the creature comforts. A base AT4 is an elevation with leather, lift kit, and either the 6.2 or baby max. That's it. You gotta add all the packages and options to it.
