DD uses just plan ass Schmid Tool FCG's for their regular offerings....
An ALG ACT is a vast improvement over stock DD offerings. unless your order their PRO line (which cane come with a Geissele FCG), which is even more expensive. At their price point, just get the KAC SR15 and don't waste...
Set screw gas should use 272 Loctite for 1) securing the screws 2) withstanding the heat of that portion of the upper.
Proper procedure for set screw gas blocks:
Dimple under gas port for rear set screw
Knurled tipped set screw
Red 272 Loctite applied
Fasteners torqued to a firm snug...
Yeah, but not every manufacturers supports the old .170 these days. Also, I would never want to get stuck with one FCG that only fits older Colts personally.
As time goes on, I am sure less and less companies will even worry with .170 options for an entire lineup.
As Matt said, a call would be needed.
IMHO, those look like they very well could be .170 holes if those are the actual reference photos of what you would get. Definitely worth a call.

This is also my argument every time I see Colt lowers available in the $300 range, but it is also why we are probably seeing so many sales in Colt lowers now too. Dealers are probably realizing they are worth more split up.
