Any idea how to find out what 'extended time' is for a given state? I knew I was legally allowed to go through all the States. I know some states try to pull the 'can't even stop for gas,' but what about overnight.
My final destination does reciprocate with GA. And I can always stay in N. Carolina for the night, just means I have to stop earlier than I was planning.
It was my understanding that when you are in a hotel/motel room, that is your domicile (home)... And are the laws the same for a resident and non-resident?
I don't speed, I hate the idea of paying the ticket and my insurance going up. Government already steals enough money from me, I don't plan to give them any more.
If you are traveling through a state that doesn't reciprocate with GA and you plan on staying at a hotel, does the law require the gun remain in the car? Or are you allowed to transport it to the room?
I am not asking what to do, only what the law says.
We will be traveling to Florida in the next few weeks, and I was planning on carrying a few guns with me. I know some of the communist States up North don't even allow you to posses ammo without a license. How do you find out about laws like that for other States? Even things like OC or CC. Yes...
This is a terrible example. When you go to by beer and get carded, you went to buy beer and had to prove you are old enough to purchase it. The other is a cop stopping me for no reason, other than to verify I the government mandated proof to carry said firearm. For one, the cop likely took an...
It should have to be the most dangerous city in the region they represent. Since they are supposed to represent the people, they should have to live where in the worst area of which they represent. Good luck to those in Chicago and Newark.
I don't discount their deaths, but still, they knew the risks. But the way a lot of the LEO on here come off is that the deaths of LEO is of far more importance than a regular citizen. Y'all shot our dogs, oh well. We shot one of your dogs, we go to prison. You don't see the hypocrisy there?
The failure in your argument is that you think we all believe LEO are in it to collect money from the government, which is something I don't believe anyone on here thinks. But, that is what their job is, regardless of the reason they take the position.
No, i was referring specifically to people filling false reports. I understand why people do it, though I can't imagine why people would stoop to that level. Anyway, you mention how the average citizen in your area is just let off when they do it, but if one of y'all do it, they fire you. My...
Why is it that both sides aren't prosecuted? Seems like both sides should suffer the consequences of their actions, as it could have long term affects on the accused party. There are many things that a person can be accused of, that even after it is proved to be false, has lasting effects.
