    I've mailed more than a couple of shotguns, with no issues. USPS is much easier than dealing with FedEx or UPS.

    Talked to my Police Chief today. Asked him what he would do if he was ordered to go door to door and confiscate weapons. He said he would go home, and protect his weapons.

    Explain the comment about fingerprinting. I just got printed yesterday, for the permit. Are you saying printing is no longer required? How do they do the background check without the prints?

    She told me if I had renewed before it expired,or within 30 days of expiration, It would be renewed for $35.00 but now it's $80.00, and I have to get printed tomorrow. Also now they take a picture, instead of a thumb print.so I guess its a photo I.D. now.

    So I neglected to get my carry permit renewed. Went in today, and because it was 30 days past due, the fee went from a $35.00 renewal, to a $80.00 new application. Lesson learned. Check that wallet.

    Can someone tell me what the law is in Georgia, regarding finding a firearm in a storeage unit that you purchased, inherited, whatever. Having an argument with my son about this. Thanks
