    Rarely is a stripped lower marked PISTOL ONLY or RIFLE So if a stripped lower is classified as a pistol. if we put a stock on it and planned to use it as a rifle can it be considered a transferable long gun item if intended as such?

    Dude... such as.. you send S&W your gun. they ship it right back to your house.. WHy? because its your property and you can send it where ever... keep in mind you are sending your item to your trusted friend so you can reclaim it at another date. you are not transfering or giving it to them...

    technically yes but if the stripped lower was not registered as a rifle it can be considered a handgun. Im not sure if a handgun can be transfered door to door between private parties. rifles yes. handguns unsure
