Not sure i understand your comment about Roswell residents. I've always renewed mine at the North Fulton service center and taken the paperwork they give me to the Alpharetta PD. Has something changed?
I'm taking friend down to Northside Hospital in Atlanta for surgery, later this week. Any know issues or screening for CCing at this Hospital? thanks......
I travel to central Illinois every fall for a car show. I keep it within my car and have had no issues. I realize I'm unable to carry on me, but having within the car is better than nothing. And where I travel, there is no 10 round restriction.
CPO being present not an issue unless ingress is restricted or screening is being done. I've carried in many govt buildings with a CPO was present, but no screening or ingress restriction.
I'd assume if one has the appropriate approvals from the private school / college or public schools, one could carry on campus. Or if you were law enforcement. Outside that, not sure about lots of exemptions.
If I remember correctly, carrying inside your car is fine at public and private schools. when dropping off or picking up. Step outside your car while carrying and you just broke the law. The exception is you can now carry at public universities, but only in certain places.
Technically, I agree with courtroom. But the Ga law says courthouse. Most places I go to that have a courtroom inside the courthouse now screen at the entrance to the courthouse, so you not gonna get to carry inside anyways.
I also use an app I loaded on my phone. It's called CCW concealed carry 50 state. Works great. I think I paid $1.99 for it a few years ago. Nice thing is I always have it with me and it stays pretty current.
How is it the sheriff of Bibb County thinks if no guns signs are posted, guns are not allowed?? Another reason to carry concealed.....
