    It seems like some counties make it as difficult as legally allowed by state law. In Morgan county they wouldn't mail them to you at all. I had to leave work early just to pick it up. And that was 5 years ago. Gonna find out next week how we do it in Dawson County.

    Last time I checked anyone can kick you off of private property. However an employee can only be prohibited from having a gun in his vehicle by the employer if the parking lot is secured and access is controlled.

    Maybe I am looking at old info but I never noticed this before. According to state law a "long gun" has a barrel length of at least 18 inches a "handgun" has to be no more than 12 inches and a "sawed off rifle" has a barrel of less than 16 inches. Where does this put the 16 inch barreled...
