Back in the early ODT days we did have one, but nobody wanted to post in it. I'm all for it, but everyone here that's saying they want it needs to help keep it alive.
As much as I'm all for this, there aren't that many active competition shooters on here. There aren't a lot of posts regarding it already, so I'd start by getting discussions going before it's own dedicated forum. We tried the Training and Tactics forum but it didn't really get off the ground...
In the classifieds, we have a professional services forum but what about a help wanted section as well? The definitions don't specifically state it but that's where a lot of listing have been showing up. I also know there is a long thread somewhere, but I can't always find it when I come...
I think maybe it should be a "shooting" forum as opposed to a firearms chat. Firearms chat for information about guns themselves, with a "shooting" forum for actually using them, etc, etc. Any tactics or training discussion would be within it.
That same logic would mean all of the movie studios would be liable for the crap you see on screen. It is an interesting point, but one that I've never heard of anyone being held liable for. Have any support for it?
I'm not b****ing about anything. I would just like to be able to filter those posts out and leave me with my gun discussions and most importantly classifieds..
Because I'm a nice guy, I've entered in all of the IDPA and USPSA matches I could think of. I've also punched in a few others. If anyone else has any to add, please do so!
I'm not saying for people to stop. People will still complain, at least mods could move posts and people would have a place to do it. Call it ODT Counseling or something.
And the mower is running awesome. The yard looks fantastic after a cut.
It seems things have turned into the outdoor trader and b****ing forum. Maybe we can give the whiners, complainers, life is not fair, etc, etc posts their own area for people to wallow in together...
And I can block it!
Some suggestions for other wordings:
I'll take it pending inspection.
I'll take it pending answers to questions.
A simple "I'll take it" indicates you are taking the item as is at the price stated. Any negotiations are over (or bypassed), questions answered, wife's given the ok, dog...
