    I understand the heat in our shop has us in the same mood. I think they were giving each other high fives and talking about the cars they were going to run out in front of. It was a cool surprise for my son and I as we were scrolling through countless deer eating corn pictures.

    We are seeing them in our yard. I had to bucks in velvet pass through the other night. Ive had does at my feeder. The other night we were sitting on the front porch watching a storm blow in.     I cannot imagine why I am spending so much on corn……..

    Yet. I have a feeder that slings feed on a timer. We get coons from time to time. I have found the deer and coons seem to get a long.

    I almost killed a garter snake last Saturday. Totally unintentionally by stepping on it. We were in the yard and my wife screamed snake. Little fella was no happy to have been distrurbed. After showing my son how well camouflaged they can be I just put him in a bucket and took him down the road...

    I've never been able to look at a deer on the hoof and score it. I know the deer I'm hunting in my head is bigger than the deer in the woods. The deer on the hoof is always bigger than the deer on the ground.

    Truth I have considered a camera system. The wife is wanting to move (taking me with her thankfully) within a year so not sure how hard they are to set up and take down.
