I’m still seeing lots of avatars, but that’s how I’d prefer it anyway. It allows me to easily spot those who have lots of ads so I can put them on ignore….
IMHO your posts tend towards absolutes and reflect that they're right, and you're wrong. You also take a general tone of cynicism and sarcasm, with a touch of morbid humor. The referenced post is a perfect example.
I seriously doubt that *every* reloading post you've ever read that includes...
Perhaps they just didn't like you? Is your deodorant working? <joke!>
I try to leave feedback with each deal, but I don't really care if it's left for me.
I saw that he logged in yesterday, but never responded to any of my messages. Obviously it wasn't just a problem in getting to the computer.
Negative feedback left.
Nope, nothing. It looks like I have another buyer lined up, though.
edit: he still hasn't logged back onto the site since the 20th. Don't know if he's avoiding it since he welched on the deal, or if something came up.
IMHO we had a deal. In two seperate PM he said "I'll take it if you can wait until next weekend." There doesn't seem to be any grey area in that.
I'm good with waiting a bit more, though, just to see if he turns up.
I hear what you're saying that there could be a good reason, and I agree.
On the other side of the coin, I'd really like to know who makes a habit of flaking on deals they've agreed to - that's the purpose of feedback, after all.
Mods - Can feedback be retracted at a later point? Could I...
I understand, which is why I've hesitated.
We don't, however, have a firm time/place arranged for the meeting. I'd like to get in touch with him so I can make sure I'm available. Since he's dropped out of sight I can't do that.
I've sent him an email through the board - do the mods have...
I made a deal last weekend with a ODT member to sell them a pistol. They were going to get back to me by Tuesday to let me know if they wanted an accessory, and we were supposed to do a deal this coming weekend.
I didn't hear from them on Tuesday, sent them a PM on Wednesday and haven't...
Is there a way for the forum to display smaller linked pictures?
I use photobucket for my pictures, and when I insert them in my ad they come out huge - much larger than how I see them on other sites. Can this be handled automatically, or is it something I just need to live with?
edit...
