I totally forgot about this thread... to go with the thread direction tho, I favor a DeWalt battery drill, and a milwalkee screw gun. I'm a pretty high speed operator with a Milwalkee, 1.3 second splits with 1 1/4" square head screws and a dewalt 2" driver extension... Some folks say you cant...
Ive been messing around with different "standard" drills lately. Im partial to the 99 drill lately, I'm still chasing times, but I think it's a good way to keep round count down, IE cost, and use every shot effectively. So whats your favorite?
Not yet, i joined gssf with the idea that it would push me to go to some events, but it's yet to happen. My main shootin buddy, my cousin, is a few hundred miles south and it's hard to get it worked out to both make it to an event
I appreciate your insight. I was really debating on putting up the video, all my problems are usually less prevalent, but the second that timer goes off and you know the clocks ticking things seem to get real sloppy, real fast. I'll be getting back on my dry fire and working on everything...
Ok, so I know this is going to get brutal, but without being willing to put it out there I know ill be missing out on getting better. It's been a while since I have been able to shoot, and haven't been doing my dry fire practice like I should, but I got a chance to do some shooting this weekend...
I've had to step back lately, before the timer even, and concentrate on consistent repetition. Minute of pie plate shooting had me really neglecting my trigger pull and concentration on that front sight. I hope I dont fall into the trap of chasing the timer.
I was using an android app before, I...
I'm pretty excited, found a member here on ODT with a CED7000 for sale, I so rarely see them on here. I worked out a deal and got it a few days ago, thanks again Jon. Ive been planning out each shooting session and running drills to work on different parts of my skill set for the past 8 months...
Id be hard pressed to get a highly accurate rig in my budget, i would think, but would defiantly be interested in the course as I think alot of the information would transcend a sub par gun.
as show to me by Protective Measures, when they get up to 1 yards, being able to shoot from retention is key, I practice two draws, to retention and full draw, shooting a paper plate from retention isnt as hard as i would have imagined after drilling it. Shooting from retention is also a real...
If were talking SD, you aught to look at it from the draw, and statistically itd be a decent idea to cut that 15 yards down to ~7
That being said, im not sure, im shooting a few times this weekend, ill let you know where im at
Glad it went well, I would have loved to be there but with a move and grown folks life creeping up on me $ kept me from it. Congrats to all the shooters.

I think this is a key thing people dont do, I was never given toy guns that I can remember, but I do remember handling guns, under supervision, when I was young and knew the realities of what they can do. A hole in a paper dosent get the point across near as well.
Now I didnt have a custom...
I think I'll probably swing by tomorrow and sign up if there are any spaces available, with such an ornery woman I take any chance I can to sit around and BS guns and tactics, I expect Ill learn something too

Keep your F*in finger off the F*in trigger!!!!
