I know my 6.5CM bolt gun has a definite preference for which can I use on it. It likes the Dobbs ARC30 much better than my Silcencerco Harvester 30. The Dobbs can is twice as heavy.
By the way, double ear pro when you shoot these. Loud is an understatement. As far as recoil, you will be pleasantly surprised at how controlled it is.
Easy to remember. 38/357 are "small frame" with square tang for grips. 44 spl/44mag are "large frame" and have oval tangs for the grips. Model 14 has fixed rear sight and 'pork chop" barrel shroud. Model 15 have adjustable rear sights and straight barrel shrouds.
