So i'm pretty intrigued by this growing trend of Glock 80% lowers. I'll admit up front that theres no way I'm going to spend $800+ to build a Glock when i could buy one used for sub-$500. I just love building stuff, so there's some intrigue to it -- but i'm not convinced of the reliability or...
Personally I like the added texture. I HATE the finger grooves on the G19, but love them on the G17. the spacing is tighter to the trigger guard on the 19 and my large hands just can't get in there right -- even with an undercut trigger guard.
Stippling and grip modifications most...
you can get a dremel tool from harbor freight for $20. there are a hundred DIY how-tos on youtube. It's really pretty easy to do if you're so inclined.
+1 on SOE. I have the EDC low profile. It's a great rigid belt, and without the cobra buckle its way less "tacticool.'
and SOE has some black friday deals going right now. use code "Black Friday 2016" for 25% off and random free prizes.
FYI -- i was very hesitant ordering from these guys...
well, no issues yet. I'm going to run a tactical carbine course saturday, so we'll see how it holds up to 10 hours and 1000 rounds of action.
paint is rustoleum camo ultra flat... khaki, forrest brown and army green i think were the colors. Used a $2 walmart laundry bag for the texture...
HUGE difference than a mil spec trigger... and i'm comparing it to a Colt milspec trigger, not a cheap-0 trigger. the PSA enhanced pollished triggers are SWEET!
I am more intentional about spare mags in the car at all times. When i'm traveling over the road I carry an AR, mags, and plate carrier -- but i did that before.
The one thing I have changed: I actively carry more first aid gear (RATS tourniquets or TK4s). Rather than changing my...
Palmetto runs their version of the ALG ACT (which i believe is exactly the same trigger) for $29.99 pretty often. I'm running that and i LOVE it!
I'm not going to say a Geissele wouldnn't be awesome, but for like 85% less money i'm sticking with these from here on.
the knrul tip and cone tip set screws are a must! I'm pretty sure i ordered mine through macmaster carr
mill bit and sharp irwin drill bits came via Amazon....
Think it spent $25 to install the base that i had
So here's what i did in your situation:
drilled and tapped the pin holes, drilled through the bayonett lug and taped it, drilled through under the sling swivel and tapped it.
align the FSB onto the barrel as close to zero as you can see (laser bore sighter will help you here, but not...
yeah, that's sweet! When i had AK's i always wanted to send one off to Fuller...
look forward to hearing the specs on the work done. How does it shoot?

Don't use a traditional tension retention method, the kydex is actually pressed to fit into the mag-catch detent in the Glock Magazines, so the "click" into place.
taking my pay pal funding, not responding to me about shippping.. then telling me he forgot to ship it, then i check his feedback, PM another ODT member and find out he sold the item to another ODT'er face to face
fortunatley the schmuck sent me my money back -- except he sent it as a payment...
Cooks makes some great stuff -- I have a mag carrier from G-Code as well that is a similar style as cooks -- belt clip directly behind the mag. Certainly high quality stuff, but the down side is the added thickness of the clip being behind the mag caused printing, and also allowed the may to...
