  1. Recoil for a S&W EZ Shield 9mm

Looking to reduce the recoil on a S&W EZ Shield 9mm performance. Wanting to use this as my carry pistol and the felt recoil is a little more than I want for follow up shots. Has any one tried any a recoil set up for this … which one and did it work? Thanks ODT
  2. Walther PO/PPK value

Thanks for the interest ODT. Think I’ll post it for $700 and see if I get any nibbles.
  3. Walther PO/PPK value

Have a PPK, 32, blued in the Walther plastic case with one mag. I’ll give it a 94 rating, has a small spot on the slide. Barrel is stamped 74, so the manufacture date is 1974. Also has a stamp behind the trigger well “Nds” in a square box. Stands for Lower Saxony Police is what I’ve found out...
  4. The Under Estimated Carbine CX4

Really enjoy the CX-4 in both the 9 and 40. Took both to the range for the first time the other day and bot ate out the bullseye at 25 yds with the standard sights. They are keepers! Thanks Targetmaster.
  5. Need advice on 308 sub sonic rounds

Thanks for your help. Going to order some from these guys. http://www.southwestammunition.com/product_p/sub308175.htm
  6. Need advice on 308 sub sonic rounds

Thanks for anyone responding to this. I have a Savage Model 111 Long Range Hunter in 308 with a 1:10 twist and 26" barrel bolt action. I've been studying the internet trying to figure out which round of subsonic ammo would be the best for my rifle. Most sites say a 168 grain needs to be used in...
  7. My Glocks are on probation.

(Unload) ... Practice dry firing several times a week, month and so on ... it works.
  8. Glock trigger

Liked it enough to get another for my G34. You'll need to check them out!
  9. CZ of a different variety

That looks great! Gotta love the CZ's.
  10. FT Blessing from above, the 223 story

Well, the story comes to an end. Stag replaced the rifle except the trigger group and stock. I received it this past weekend and it's great!!!!!! I can't tell all the ODTers enough to buy Stag. A Great American company. Thanks for all the replies, God Bless Chris
  11. FT Blessing from above, the 223 story

    Really?
  12. FT Blessing from above, the 223 story

Thank you for all your comments and the support groups on why and where this can happen. As for me, I no longer have any 300 blackout ammo or AR. I've selected only common rounds to use ... 9mm, 45 acp, 223/5.56 and 308. I think the best example used to coordinate your rounds is to color code...
  13. Glock trigger

http://www.mcglock.com I picked up a new trigger for my G19 and wanted to share how good it is. You can adjust the travel and re-set to the way you want it. They are having a $10 off sale and are $149.99 during Christmas. I picked one up off ODT'er a month ago and it's the best trigger I've...
  14. FT Blessing from above, the 223 story

OK .... The story gets better. I contacted Stag and received a return shipping number to be able to send the lower back for testing to make sure that its in good enough condition to start a new AR build. I went ahead and shipped all the pieces of the AR upper for them to access and spread the...
  15. Glock G42?

More than likely it will be a G41 in 380. That's my guess.
  16. FT Blessing from above, the 223 story

Great advice on how to keep the rounds different! Hope everyone does this. Thanks ODT'ers! Good stuff.
  17. FT Blessing from above, the 223 story

Uploaded some more pics of the bullets/casing, remaining ammo from the mag and the blown out mag.
  18. FT Blessing from above, the 223 story

All good points but the difference between the 300 and 223 if you are looking at the length and the taper of the 300 in about 1/2". I have the casing ... Found most of the parts ... And it looks as the bullet slip back about 1/2". The bolt is destroyed ... it looks like it got stung by a dozen...
  19. FT Blessing from above, the 223 story

Thanks for all the posts and concerns for safety. I'm getting my hearing back. Thanks to ODT'ers, we figured that the bolt slammed the bullet back into the brass and when I pulled the trigger, it blew out the sides and bottom of the AR and the bullet stayed into the chamber ... what a mess...
