Have a PPK, 32, blued in the Walther plastic case with one mag. I’ll give it a 94 rating, has a small spot on the slide. Barrel is stamped 74, so the manufacture date is 1974. Also has a stamp behind the trigger well “Nds” in a square box. Stands for Lower Saxony Police is what I’ve found out.
Wondering what the value might be? Selling for an older gentleman that said he only put 3 rounds through it.
Thanks for anyone’s help and reply. I’ll post a couple pictures.

I might have posted this in the wrong spot

Over 1200?
In 32 i think here you would be lucky to get 400 unless you hit a collector.

BLIP BLIP is correct. Very hard to get any value out of these pistols. There is a member who’s been trying to market a 3rd Reich PPK for $1400 and mon Freire BLIP BLIP says paying $400 would be generous. Maybe $50 more if it was in 9 x 18 Makarov.

The .32 ACP “unicorn” I’d want to find in an Estate Sale is the Mauser HSc or the Heckler & Koch Model 4. It’s the exact same DA/SA gun variant of the The PPK the Pa-63 and others principle design but a much better build and style

I mean the reason you buy one of these pistols is because 1) they’re cheap and 2) They are cool and 3) You just want the goofy gun but they have very little collectibility (but a lot of kitsch and tall tales).

Nobody says “Bring me the gun of Hitler (and James Bond.) Yes that sissified Prussian Field Marshal was one famous PPK owner and the other one was Hitler. (As Craig Ferguson would compare).

"Rarity" and "collectable" descriptions are mostly bunk: It is desirability that sets the price in the open market.

ODT is in general a poor venue for high value, highly desirable items.

Some PPs & PPPKs are collectible and a small subset command high prices. 32 was the original caliber, followed by 380. 380 one change hands here for around $500 and up.

A lot depends on who made it; Walther, Interarms, (who also imported them), S&W. Walther still make some here.

This one isn't that unique. Checking SOLD items on Gunbroker is as good a way of establishing market value as any for these types of guns. Don't rely on one off high / low $ sales, you need a reasonable sample size.

The firearm you have pictured is a post war West German PP police trade. As far as values on PWWG Walthers, the PPK is tops, followed by the PPK/S, then the PP. Caliber .22 is tops, then .32, then .380. The police marking is a distraction. Gunbroker sold auctions are your best indicator for current prices. The is a huge difference in values based on condition and accessories.

Your photos aren't super high quality, but this is about as good as a 32 1974 as there is. Looks new. Price from there.

Thanks for the additional market info. This specimen is mint. I would say this is an outlier, representative of only the creme of the market. I mean condition is everything typically available on the market is a pretty broad spectrum of dings, dents and discoloration.
