I’ve seen some last 8 years plus and look fantastic and others not make it 2 years and start wearing off.
Having a person who does good work is obviously a plus 👍
Depends on the stock, some will hold up to baking on Ceracoat, some wont. Usually it’s ok unless it is some weird blend of polymers.
I think Cerakote works great/better on metal but for stock work I prefer polane or duracoat.
Wife shoots a Gen 3 G19 and loves it… took me by surprise…. Point being… You're going to see feedback all over the map. Let her shoot a bunch and decide, which is what we did.
I hear that!! I scored this Remington 11-87 for a great price back in September..thought it was too good to be true. Although it was in really great condition… the best thing I did was started hunting with it as my duck 🦆 gun and LOVE IT!
Get that bad boy out there!! Haha!!
Was thinking not much that fits your specs unless you know someone. Also was thinking Wilson Shoals, but thinking that’s too far for you.

Nailed it! I grabbed an 1100 last year in great condition for $575 and got this 1187 with all the goodies for $280 just a couple weeks ago!!
