I rode to it today and pulled in the parking lot. After witnessing most people walking out empty handed, it confirmed what I really already knew. The last one I actually went into way before the current shortage still didn't offer good selection or prices. It was a fine day for my motorcycle...
I'm in my mid 50s and have been getting the starburst effect more and more over the past few years. I finally broke down and got my first eye exam a few weeks ago after being forced into shooting lefty due to my right eye being so useless with irons, scopes, and RDS. I'm getting intraocular...
I have one and really like it. I found a scope base to mount a 1-4 that still allows use of the irons. Delayed blowback action really softens the recoil impulse into a longer event. It could be had reasonably though if you're interested..... I just don't shoot it as often as I used to.
There's a different angle that I've heard from a friend. Imagine a scenario in which you may bring your sidearm into the fray...it's likely to be at very close distance, not the mythical 7 or more yards as seen on TV. If you're engaged in a struggle for a firearm when someone is trying to whoop...
There's 110% truth in your statements. It's a package involving ammo, gun, and the operator at the bare minimum. All too often, people talk of just needing X number of rounds to be effective, they're assuming perfect accuracy and a predefined scenario in those instances. I see people during our...
The gun is secondary to ammo selection? Is it self firing ammo????
I'm pretty certain that the gun itself matters just a LOT more than the terminal ballistics. You can have the biggest caliber with gee-whiz-bang, uber-expanding, physics defying technology, but unless the gun will feed and fire...
You said a mouthful there! I had the distinct privilege (more like a punishment) of re-assembling that very pistol from a bag of parts. Getting the sear group back in is absolutely ridiculous!
I had one for a while and can confirm that it's very effective, the minimal recoil that a .223 has is all but eliminated. You do need to make sure that people off to either side of the muzzle have some damn good earpro though. It'll blow a puff of gasses that'll blow hair out of place at 6-8...
I've recently converted to being a believer in the benefits of laser trainers. My daughter's pistol shooting had become sloppy and dry firing alone wasn't helping. You can dry fire wrong without feedback to show a steady hold, that provided no help. I got one of the laserlyte devices that goes...
I'll go on record saying that the BCG is Nickel Boron. I'll even put my money where my mouth is, if it's bought or traded for and someone still thinks it's not, I'll buy them out of it at whatever price they paid AND add $10 in addition to the shipping cost. I don't need a BCG, but I'll fully...
