Why buy the S&W Governor over the much cheaper, like by ½, Taurus Judge? Both guns appear to be basically the same. Is the quality that much better on the Governor? Or, is it just brand name recognition and reputation??

I have a Smith Model 66 that I bought off a friend when I was 18 because I worked armed security, I could carry a gun but not purchase from a dealer. I am 43 now, still have the gun and it's the one gun I will never part with.
