  1. What are you favorite pistols? (Which should I buy?)

Absolutely about Beretta 92 pistols. Smoothest slide and action, great sights and absolutely accurate. My M9A3 is the best pistol I’ve owned.
  2. Cerekote cost and where to get it done?

I appreciate the help, I'll give them a call
  3. Cerekote cost and where to get it done?

I have an M4 and an acog that I would like to Cerekote in ATACS FG. Can a ACOG safely have Cerekote applied? Does anyone know a somewhat local gunsmith or shop that does a good job? I appreciate the help.
  4. I need help on this rifles value

I appreciate the help. I have figured mine was worth somewhere in that range. I paid $185 for it back in 2009. It shoots great and I plan on keeping it. I saw that listing on gunbroker and just wondered if all matching numbers made that big of a difference.
  5. I need help on this rifles value

I think the guy asking $1,200 is crazy but he's asking that because all numbers match. The non matching numbers guns I have seen go for $300 to $550 depending on condition. The gun in the auction link doesn't have matching numbers. The rifle I have has 100 percent matching numbers and that's...
  6. I need help on this rifles value

I have a savage NO4, MK1 lend lease rifle dated 1942. It is stamped U.S. property and all numbers match to include the magazine, receiver, bolt and stock. It also has the 2000 meter ladder sight as well as the standard battle sight. It has C.A.I. import marks and is in good condition. It...
  7. I found an ammo gold mine!

You're right, you shouldn't buy any of it.
  8. I found an ammo gold mine!

I'm going back there tomorrow first thing in the morning. I decided to buy a few more boxes of ammo and mags. As soon as I get back home I'll post another update on what they have and I'll confirm their hours of operation.
  9. I found an ammo gold mine!

I thought about waiting until I got paid on the 15th so I could go there and drop $500 on mags and ammo. I ended up buying a few Colt 20 round mags and some .45 auto rounds yesterday. I figured it would be the right thing to do since almost every place in the country is out of ammo. Just...
  10. I found an ammo gold mine!

I also stopped by the Fort Benning PX today. They have a huge ammo inventory of every pistol caliber exept .22 in stock at normal prices. They are out of everything related to AR's and 5.56 but have a great selection of pistol magazines including Chip Mckormicks 10 rnd 1911 mags, a lot of...
  11. I found an ammo gold mine!

I agree, they had a 1,000 round case of Tula 223, a 1,000 round case of federal 223 that didn't have price tags. The 5.56 is high at .65 cents per round but cheaper than most places.
  12. I found an ammo gold mine!

By the way they are closed on Sunday's. I think their hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm monday -saturday. - - - Updated - - - Nope, I'm a Drill SGT at Benning. Just passing along what I think is a decent find.
  13. I found an ammo gold mine!

Hello everyone, I stopped in at Nationwide Sports here in Columbus yesterday and found that they have a ton of ammo at pre-nonsense prices. If you're willing to make the drive I think it would be worth your time. I would have bought it all but I'm broke and had to settle for a few boxes of...
  14. How long will it be before FPSRussia kills himself or someone else?

    He was Spetznaz for sure!
  15. Can anyone help me with age and value on this wheelgun?

Just wanted to say thanks again to JWC. He has been a wealth of information about this pistol. It's amazing to me the amount of good folks who will help out people they don't even know. Thats why I love the ODT.
  16. Can anyone help me with age and value on this wheelgun?

I'm trying to put a few pictures of it up but I can't figure it out.
  17. Can anyone help me with age and value on this wheelgun?

I recently inherited my late Grandfathers 357 revolver. It is a S&W model 13-2 and the serial# is 8D14501. It also came with a leather holster with a S&W logo branded on the back with " 1934 " beneath the brand. Does that mean the holster and gun were made in the 30's? My Grandmother said...
  18. Other States have more ammo!

Well maybe I did get lucky. It just seemed strange that four different stores that were well over 100 miles apart had such a good selection of ammo. Good hunting to everyone!
  19. Other States have more ammo!

I can only imagine the riff-raff y'all do have to deal with. That's why the airport is as far into Atlanta I've made it so far!
  20. Other States have more ammo!

You can say I got lucky but this was four different stores. The first three I went to had all of the same things and I would have bought there but my wife was not having it. I finally snuck off in Texarkana and used my good ol' Walmart gift cards for what I wanted. I'm not saying this will be...
