I don't understand the fascination with the AR platform and it's mag release. I just got really excited to hear about the new scorpion and as soon as I saw the video explaining the "upgrades" I just lost all interest. I like my guns unique, i like the learning curve they require. It was the same...
Same setup here. Xl with a romeo. The roneo hast failed me yet. First few shots were nice. Shoots like a larger gun. I'm looking into the aluminum frame for it. Should help with recoil and add some more girth the frame which would be nice for my large hands. It's the only pistol I've even owned...
Shoots, feels, and conceals like a dream. Im waiting on mag guts to release their +2 extentions for the magazines. To bring it up to 14+1 I would likely prefer to shoot a 19 with a red dot. But this conceals much nicer for edc.
Guys he's just asking if he can hold up the acog up to his eye to see the bullet impact to confirm or adjust zero. Yes you can. I did this with a magnifier to sight in a red dot on my cz scorpion with no riser. Its just like using a binoculars. Unless of course you are talking about mounting it...
I have a bushnell trs 25 on mine. Not because I'm cheap but because it sits perfectly cowitnessed on top of the front sight post. Small light weight. And its held its zero for many years. But back to topic. Look into a tailhook brace. I switched over from that very same brace you have there and...
I have a franklin binary trigger for my scorpion. Very fun. Very controllable. I've only had 200~ or so rounds through it but it seems very reliable too. I couldnt outrun the bolt as fast as I could shoot it. Would highly recommend it. No experience on anything ar related though.
I've had a 1911 in 9mm and it was a nice shooter but if you're not going to carry a 1911 in 45 acp there's no point. 1911s are low capacity heavy guns that only make sense with the 45 acp. if its not in 45 then its outclassed in every way by another modern carry option. If you're set on 9mm I'd...
I keep every firearm I have loaded but none in the chamber. Including my edc which usually lives in the car( yeah yeah asking for it to be stolen). There are no children in my house and I keep them without a round in the chamber simply because I feel safer knowing it can't go bang until I want...
Then I call the police. My name is john, the last name ain't wick. I don't think all of my problems can be solved with a firearm. What if the perp is going through your truck and you have your pistol on you? What are you going to do?
I leave my most inexpensive pistol in my car with a holster and an extra mag. Reason being i am not allowed to carry at work. If someone breaks in and steals it at least they will have a nice leather holster to carry it in. In all seriousness it makes me safer to think that I can walk 30 steps...
This is my 1979 colt combat commander. I gave it some new age upgrades with the Novak sights, beavertail, mainspring housing. And cerakote. It was beat to all hell when I got it and I had a vision for it. Still need to scrape up some change for a new trigger but I'm keeping the safety, and slide...
In theory I love everything about this gun. Compact, lightweight, and holds more shells than I need, and semi affordable. But all the reviews say that it's a piece of crap and doesn't work. Jammatic and cheaply constructed. Anyone here have one and is happy with it?
