    Negligible difference between 16 - 20" at 300 yards. Go with the 16 if you plan on adding a suppressor. 16 makes for a much handier rifle in my opinion.

    don't think that it comes off easy. you will never get it back to factory look just by stripping the paint off. it stays in "the pores" of the metal and will never look as black as original. but you can always strip and paint / ceracoat it black.
