Maybe they have plans for a threaded barrel, and the frame actually acts as a supported suppressor host. Or maybe someone just had a brain fart and threw it into the marketing photo. These are designs only a mother could love.. why does 'American Made' all too often become synonymous with 'bad...
If I Go through the hassles of SBR'ing anything, I think that this would have to be it:
Chiappa Alaskan Scout 12"

My new 'plinker' -STI Spartan V 1911 fresh back from the gunsmith. Upgraded stainless hardware including compensator, slide release, ambi safety, magwell, hammer and trigger. <3lbs trigger pull, and the handy dandy Chip McCormick 10rd extended magazine. Can't wait to hit the range :-)
I'm not knocking the look of them, and the one in the photo was professionally ported. Just curious on the benefits from a shooting perspective. To me t would seem like lightening the front of an already short pistol could increase recoil.
Can anyone tell me the benefit of backyard-gunsmithing enthusiasts porting sub-compact pistols intended for EDC? It seems like it would create more problems with snagging with no intrinsic functionality benefits outside of 'Looking TactiCool'.
Note: not one of mine.
Looks like your post got removed.. What they are saying about Satire and Parody doesn't apply to a political campaign backed by political contributions. That is, in essence, one corporation stealing from another. Doubt they care but it doesn't hurt to bother TripAdvisor enough to get them to...
I like the customization aspect with these little guns, especially if the fitting isn't problematic as with 1911 slide swaps. The photo with all of the models is great, but they need to add my ESR (Engraved) and the Scorpion (my fav. models).
I have been waiting ever since I heard that the G42 was coming out.. but got tired of waiting and tried Sig. Now I'm not looking back - I love Glocks as personal carry firearms in the larger calibers, but you can't beat the size of the P238 and P938, let alone the safety, sights, etc. Not to say...
I am getting ready to pick up my second P938, and was wondering if anyone has had any experience swapping either barrels or slides (or even both), between the various versions of the firearm?
Just sent this to TripAdvisor's Board of Directors:
I was wondering if you were aware of a site committing blatant trademark infringement, using your company's colors, logo and other elements to intentionally mislead visitors into believing they are affiliated with your company...
Wow.. smh. I agree with @righter13 - let's give criminals a clear map of where to purchase guns.. Then again, I'm pretty sure every criminal has a buddy that sells hot guns on the side, and knows that he can go to most interstate rest areas, find a guy in a van with tinted windows and pick one...
I'm good.. I'll just go out an buy one of these today. I loved my G37 when I had it but I don't see Glock putting out anything comparable in size or comfort to the P238/P938 series.
