The fax on pencil barrel is definitely the biggest bang for your buck when going lightweight. There was guy a while back at Atlanta 3 gun who shot a full JP Enterprises lightweight build that felt as light as a pool noodle. God only knows what that cost though.
I did this and not only did the gun shoot tighter groups, it felt much lighter. I imagine a magnesium hand guard and lightweight bolt carrier would be the next steps.
Go on eBay and order a $15 Glock minus connector. This will remove the second stage from the trigger and make it both lighter and smoother without having to use a lighter striker spring. You can also polish the parts with a q tip.
I wish I had just done this before I bought a $150 trigger.
I'm surprised this didn't happen years ago. Stay tuned for an assault weapon and magazine ban. Nevada is basically East California now. Has been forever.
How many rounds have been fired through how many Glocks in the last 30 years in any caliber with no problems whatsoever ? Bad news spreads far and fast. People overload and blow up ever type of gun. My father has a scar on his nose from a 1911 exploding in his hand. Don't believe the hype. You...
I have a Don Hume PCCH and it is great. It was $70 when I bought it. It has a body shield; which is important, and it has lasted for years. Galco Royal Guard if you can find one is awesome too but it ran around $130 last time I looked at one.
