  1. What’s your 9mm pick?

When I was looking for a small 9mm, one of you fellas once said no slide is smoother than a well worn P938. Whoever you were, you were not wrong. Now that 365 looks real nice, but not nice enough to make me give up on my OG, the 938.
  2. Sig or ??

    Mmmmmmm, SASsy!
  3. GLOCK 43 review? Agree or disagree?

I think that's the exact one he's using for the 938. I was curious if there were a lot of options, or just a few. Thanks for the link too!
  4. GLOCK 43 review? Agree or disagree?

Will all you fellas that pocket carry the G43, please share your holster choices? My husband has carried the P938 for years, but he wants to change to the G43, because he is not 100% successful in dropping the safety when he draws. He was never a glock fan, but is now considering it for pocket...
  5. Morrow Police Department Pull SIGs After Gun Drops and Fires

I, for one, am bummed. I was one of the ones who ran out and bought one. I love my SIGs. I am waiting to hear what SIG will do for the fix. I heard they will announce on Monday.
  6. Shooting Glocks at 150 Yards

I can't even see 150 yards away! Dang, that is good.
  7. A good time was had by all

    Sounds like big fun!
  8. Advice for first firearm for a female shooter w/kids at home?

I do kinda like the G19........ We don't have any yet (my husband doesn't like them), but if I was going to get one, it would probably be that G19. Of course I already have an FNS-9 and a Sig 320, so the G19 would be a bit greedy of me, seeing how they seem to be exactly the same gun (with the...
  9. Advice for first firearm for a female shooter w/kids at home?

Don't take that the wrong way. Sometimes it's just easier to "hear" the information from someone different, someone who's motives we haven't already anticipated. I am guilty myself of telling my daughters I would rather go gun shopping alone because then the men behind the counter are willing...
  10. Advice for first firearm for a female shooter w/kids at home?

Where exactly is this? Sounds intriguing.
  11. What gun related gift are you getting your S.O. this year?

LOL. My husband got me a squirrel skinning knife for valentine's day last year!
  12. Advice for first firearm for a female shooter w/kids at home?

Yep. You ask me if I want to go to the range and shoot one of the many I own, or if I want to go to the fabric store for new quilt material, well...... Or go to lunch with my girlfriends, kids, etc., well....... My first carry gun was a Taurus 85 (.38 +P). I was most comfortable with that...
  13. Should I buy a Sig p229?

I bet that .357 is fun at the range!
  14. Should I buy a Sig p229?

That is awesome. I am glad they get to choose. Not everyone likes the same feel. I would much rather know that each LEO gets to have what they are comfortable with. I learned something new!
  15. Should I buy a Sig p229?

Not to derail the original thread, but I thought po-po had to carry glocks? Granted, I'm not "in the know" about these things, so it was probably an assumption. Do you guys get a choice of weapon?
  16. Unicorn acquired!!

Congrats! It's always nice to find exactly what you've been waiting for. Enjoy it!
  17. I think I want a p320 in 9mm

That FNS is completely ambi, and that is nice. I don't have much experience with guns, but I struggle with the slide locks on the traditional pistols. In fact, there are not many that I can actually work the slide lock on, and only a few that I can hit the slide release. The mag release...
  18. I think I want a p320 in 9mm

What do you like more about the FNS? Compared to the compact Sig, the FNS holds 2 more (which is nice). The FNS (the one I have) is two tone, with stainless slide, where the 320 is all black. What I like about the Sig is the modular design and there are fewer internal parts, which makes me...
  19. I think I want a p320 in 9mm

Yes, the FNS is a great gun. I loved it and have owned it for years. And it has an external safety that the 320 does not have. However, oddly, the 320 feels better in my hand (and I'm a 5'3" girl). The 320 grip is "fatter" than the FNS but it feels good. I laid my FNS directly on top of the...
  20. I think I want a p320 in 9mm

....but there are so many choices. Full size, carry size, compact or sub-compact. I will likely carry this one in my purse, so I think I have narrowed it down to full size or compact. Not sure how easy it would be to find the "carry" size, and the subcompact is not necessary since it will...
