Yeah I found what looked to be a good source at northeastshooters, and it comes back as a 1921-22 if I am reading it right. Just wanted a confirmation. Thanks I will keep looking.
I was about to throw a gun out for sale and wanted to list it for a fair price. The more I dug into it's value, the more confused I became. Hoping there is a Smith guy or two that can help clear this up for me.

Trying to avoid sending it back if I can. I did a little smithing on one of the clips last night (by a little I mean 2 hours with a hand file) and I could get the cylinder to close and the action to revolve. We are getting closer. I don't have a micrometer, but I would say the clip is close...
I think you may be right with the "it just a phase your going through" comment. regardless I am out $400 and haven't shot the first round. Kinda pisses you off if you know what I mean.
