Fired up the ugly drum smoker I built for the first time today. Dry brine the turkey for 24hrs then in smoker at 225. Also smoking a big pan of cornbread dressing.
My grandma used to make me deer tenderloin biscuits when I was a kid. Cooked everything on a wood cook stove. If you've never had a biscuit cooked in one of those then you've never had a biscuit
I will definitely have to try that. I do chicken like that sometimes when I grill it.. I have a whole deer ham left from that deer. I'm thinking seriously about smoking it in my smoker.
