    Anybody remember the old Harolds BBQ down by the Fed. Pen? They had Sunbeam sliced bread and their cracking cornbread was the best. No telling how many thousands of meals they served in the 65 years they were in business.

    I didn't notice that anyone mentioned Bubba Q. I go there once in awhile for the cheap lunch special but that's about it. With the number of plaques and trophies at the Woodstock location you would think the food would be better.

    Mine last week: They don't usually get above 500 but I don't know another grill that lasts 20 plus years.

    Holland grills are made in I believe North Carolina. They shut down last year but are starting back up soon. I have 2 that are 20-25 years old. There is a hardware store in Gainesville that have 3 new old stock for I think 6 or 800 depending the model. Let me know and I’ll find him if you are...

    I have a Holland Grill on my houseboat that's about 15 years old. They're great grills and you can cook anything on them.

    Just finished a batch. It made 13 pints and 1 Quart. I peeled and cored the apples and added 2 apples along with a cut of Crown Apple. It's pretty good. House smells great. The apples are gonna be great on some Daves Killer Bread tomorrow morning. Thanks for the recipe.

    Get a larger one. They are cheap and you can have plenty of leftovers.

  18. Any Dutch oven aficiandos?

    Cakes are great in a dutch oven. If you get one make sure it has the lid that has a lip on the top so you can put coals on top. Season it well and it will last a lifetime.

    ACE Hardware in Roswell near the mill. They have a large collection and cooking demonstrations on most Sat. Prices are a little lower than some.
