I was about to say it was probably issued to some 18 year old kid in WWI. He might have been cleaning it in a trench when the gas alarm sounded and had to quickly reassemble it. Makes a better story don't you think?
I recently passed on selling a rifle because a newbie wanted me to complete a BOS. Sorry you aren't getting my home address.
If something goes wrong with the sale I'm sure LE could follow the digital trail here.
Reminds me of when we had maids and kept our terrier in the basement. He barked so much when they finally said he could come up they asked where the big dog was.
I use the Gunbroker rule, search recent completed sales and find the market rate, then add 10% and accept a slightly lower offer from the neck beard flippers.
Also never sell a used gun for more than you can get it new: Buds, Gundeals, etc

I did a little reloading for a few years but since I retired in January have been doing more. Luckily we bought powder, primers and bullets...
This is why I reload. Had a bunch of components before they were needed.
When was the last ammo drought, 2008 or 2012?
Dig your well before you are thirsty. Buy it cheap and stack it deep.
