    Pics from security camera. Heard a racket outside the back door and discovered these on recording. Hawk in his dive (red arrow). Squirrel on step (green arrow). Squirrel trying to escape, jumped off step. Hawk won.

    Congratulations. Granddaughters are the best. I know ours is. I know how proud we were when she got her college degree and is now a responsible young lady earning a good living.

    Found this nest in our gardenia bush a few minutes ago. Did not see the bird so I am not sure what they are. Bluish tint and speckled.

    Hawk sitting in tree in the front creek this afternoon. Foggy and light rain, hard to see. Wish he had been there earlier when pesky squirrel kept setting off the driveway alarm.

    Visitors. Mama brought her two fawns last night. Pretty rat snake about four feet long in back yard this afternoon.

    Our youngest son recently stayed with us for two weeks while closing on a house. He brought his female 40 pound blue heeler with him. This old cat put the dog in its place in a hurry. She can be a mean cuss, won't put up with another cat anywhere near the house. Dog had been harassing the cat...
