That would make sense, as seemingly they have nothing for sale any more. I have one of their SS 1-6X top-grade scopes, and it's a great scope. Built like a tank, with great FFP reticle. If they can keep designing them like that, they can compete.
Off topic, but something seems wrong at SWFA. They have a 50% off sale... but no almost nothing for sale. I don't think this bodes well for their longevity.
I like SWFA too. And all of their stuff (actually, everything they sell, all brands) are on sale this weekend.
As an aside, I managed to get by the SWFA store, figuring they must have hundreds of scopes on display. They don't. They're a mail order outfit, though they'll go get whatever you...
Arken EP line of scopes are cheap, good, and will do what you want. Get one with the accessory kit, and use the $170 off code (or the 25% off they had last week, if it's still on). Don't accidentally buy one that takes 34mm rings unless you understand the consequences. : ) (Big, heavy, and...
I thought you shot the ACOG up close with both eyes open, https://www.trijicon.com/our-story/bindon-aiming-concept
It's not perfect, but it is workable. And the ACOG is superb at distance, plus obviously built like a tank.
That's a good suggestion, but my scope's already got a good index mark for that. My issue was with a full rotation. So it was way off even at 100... worked fine on the short stages though. Anyway, got a similarly clever way to make an easy-to-see rotation counter?
(The true solution is to...
I gotta say... sure you always want and can use more clear magnification, but for a .223 platform, 4X will pretty much get you there. I'd rather (and do) have 4X and a great eye box at 1X than a position-finicky 6 or 8X. YMMV.
You are so right... it's just a stupid design by people who don't use the product.
I blew a match after my windage knob rotated 3/4 of a turn going in (out?) of my case. I saw it, turned it 1/4 turn back to zero-- didn't carefully check the microscopic index marks, and proceeded to start the...
