    That would make sense, as seemingly they have nothing for sale any more. I have one of their SS 1-6X top-grade scopes, and it's a great scope. Built like a tank, with great FFP reticle. If they can keep designing them like that, they can compete.

    I thought you shot the ACOG up close with both eyes open, https://www.trijicon.com/our-story/bindon-aiming-concept It's not perfect, but it is workable. And the ACOG is superb at distance, plus obviously built like a tank.

    I gotta say... sure you always want and can use more clear magnification, but for a .223 platform, 4X will pretty much get you there. I'd rather (and do) have 4X and a great eye box at 1X than a position-finicky 6 or 8X. YMMV.
