    Brookies are on my list . My son and I are going to target them next. If we get a brookie that’s all 3 species this year we will have caught.

    Had my 13 YO son out on the toccoa and a stream near there yesterday. He managed 5 browns and a rainbow! Take a kid fishing! Once you get them out there they are so engaged and focused. He discovered he really likes fiberglass. fly rods. Crazy.

    No time limit on fly rods. As long as kept indoors out of the weather. I have a bamboo rod thats over 60 years old I use from time to time.

    Landed over a dozen browns yesterday , 2 large chubs and 1 little native rainbow.

    i realized I fly fish so much that my timing / hook set with a spinning rod was off lol

    I was using a spinning rod on the hooch today. I haven’t used my ugly stick and rooster tails in years !!! Managed a few !!

    I also just fish for bass and crappie / bluegill and cats in the summer . They don’t care about the heat .
