    I'm sitting on my houseboat for the weekend. We use it at least 30 weekends a month. Lots cheaper than a lake house. Headed to the pontoon boat in a minute for a sunset cruise. You got to pay to play. Haters gona hate.

    What are you looking for? Fishing, cruiser, pontoon? It's a bad time of the year to get the attention of a marine mechanic. The good ones are busy. Everyone waits until Memorial Day to fix what they broke Labor Day last year.

    I think the marinas give the county the info they need to allow us the privilege to pay the taxes. I doubt that they need to leave their office to extort money from us. If you ignore the tax bill in Bartow county they will file a fi fa without a court hearing and screw up your credit.

    There plenty of places to Canoe on Altoona. You would be better off during the week versus the weekend. Fishing is OK but not great.
