    Negative ghostrider, I watched my cousin take an azz beating for a fingerprint left on one of the guns we hunted with. Learned very early on...if you shoot it, you clean it

    Langdon optimized trigger bar. Imo no need to even look at anything else. Puts reset on par with my Sig. Good luck sir. Don't have the 92x yet but have used Langdon parts for several Berettas. Its quite an experience to shoot a da/sa with a 6.5/3.5 trigger.

    Check out Grizzly Guns in Jefferson. They do more then refinishing at a fair price and good turnaround time.

    If it does snap in half trying to take it out that may be a blessing. I would put a traditional spring in and get a new two piece to go with it if he sold it. Just my opinion but the full length rods are not worth it imho. Let us know how it turns out.

    Should have a hex key. If he can't unscrew it some peckerwood put locktite on it. Need to break it loose take the slide off. Compress the recoil spring forward and unscrew the rest of the way. The front half will come out front and the rear half will come out when he carefully eases the spring...

    You might try egw evolution gun works. They had an external I needed for a Sig 1911 a couple years back. Good luck sir
